India’s Ministry of Civil Aviation said in a late-night update on 27 October that Cyclone Arnab had disrupted flights in coastal Andhra Pradesh. It reported that operations at Visakhapatnam were suspended from the afternoon, while flights at Vijayawada and Rajahmundry were suspended after 7 pm. It also listed the Delhi–Bhogapuram–Delhi service on 28 October as cancelled.

The ministry listed six Air India and 13 Air India Express cancellations. It said IndiGo flights at Visakhapatnam were suspended for 27 and 28 October, with flights at Vijayawada and Rajahmundry suspended after 7 pm on 27 October. These were the ministry’s reported arrangements at the time; passengers should check for later changes.

The ministry advised travellers to check flight status directly through their airline’s website, app, helpline or SMS before setting out. It said rebooking and refund rules apply, and unresolved complaints can be taken to the AirSewa portal after first raising them with the airline.
