Cairns libraries have scheduled a wide range of school-holiday activities for Tuesday, 29 September, giving families options across several suburban branches.
The council's current events listing includes Makers Corner at Smithfield, a Rune Lock Machine activity at Gordonvale, Pokemon Trainer Academy at Manunda, Tech Quest: Digital Art Lab at Edmonton and a Watch, Make, Create movie session at City Library. These sessions are listed for 10.30am.
Stratford Library is also hosting an introduction to chess for teenagers aged 12 and over at 10.30am. Later in the day, Babinda and Edmonton libraries list supervised drop-in building sessions at 3.30pm.
Families should check the council listing before travelling because session requirements, capacity and times can change. Some activities may require parental supervision or advance registration.
