The community survey covers how often people use libraries, satisfaction with existing services, reasons for visiting or not visiting, barriers to participation and possible improvements.
Council says responses will inform future planning for library programs, services and facilities across different age groups. Feedback is welcome from regular visitors, online-service users, event participants and people who have not visited recently.
The survey closes on 4 September 2026 and is available through Cairns Regional Council’s library survey page.
