Cairns Regional Council lists the event for 9am to 2pm at Collins Avenue, Edge Hill. Its festival preview says the day will include more than 200 market stalls, local food, live music, roving performers and family activities.
Carnival on Collins closes the 10-day Cairns Festival, which runs from 28 August to 6 September. Visitors should check Council’s current event and traffic information before travelling, as event access and road arrangements can change.
